And don’t give us the ol’ sob story about how flu shots can give you the flu, because we know that’s bunk.
The flu vaccine is made from a virus that is no longer active. Therefore, no one can catch the flu from a flu shot.
If you’re looking for a place to get the good stuff, try the Flu Clinic Locator. For instance, several clinics in the Birmingham area are offering shots during the next few days.
But don’t show up at work if you get sick and infect everyone around you. Not after I took the trouble to secretly lick your coffee mug, your keyboard and your phone.
