We need to start filming "COPS" with the Birmingham police department. I've noticed that on "COPS", the police often have to GET OUT OF THEIR CARS AND CHASE THE CRIMINALS. That seems like a win/win for Birmingham. Also, it would update our image with the rest of the world, which still believes that Birmingham Police are run by a guy named "Bull", and use firehoses and police dogs on people. (We don't still do that, right?). Sadly, we've already missed the poetic opportunity to showcase a police leader named "Major Coppage".
