On Sunday, "60 Minutes" will air its investigation of whether former governor Don Siegelman was targeted by GOP strategist Karl Rove.

It'll be interesting to see when (not if) it airs. If they air it next week, everyone will complain that they "buried" it against Oscar night competition.

All other blog posts I've seen -- either stating that it will air on a specific date, or that it's being kept down by The Man -- have zero cited sources. Zero.

Wade:

The situation with this 60 Minutes and the Siegelman story is becoming almost like a bad joke.

How many times can one network keep fuddling around a story? It was more important that we see that Danish people are the "happiest in the world" than to give a man and his family some shot at justice?

All this gives creedence to the stories that there is an epic battle to keep this story from seeing the light of day.
