How can you help the residents of Biloxi and New Orleans?

1. Sign up for our weeklong mission trip Nov. 4-11. (Spots are limited!)

2. Donate an item on the Wish List. We know what supplies are needed at the agencies. Whatever you donate, we’ll take with us on Nov. 4.

3. Help us raise $2,000 for the trip, which will go directly to Hands on Gulf Coast in Biloxi and St. Bernard Project and Camp Hope in New Orleans. These will cover our basic costs at these volunteer organizations, including shelter and food for the week we’re working.

Every dollar above our costs will go to these nonprofit groups so that they may continue to recruit volunteers and restore these cities.

Please indicate if you need a receipt, which will be sent to you after our mission trip ends on Nov. 11.

Check: We’d prefer to fill in the agency after fund-raising closes Nov. 1 to ensure all three nonprofit agencies are funded correctly. If you’d prefer to designate an agency, please make your check payable to one of the following:

  • Hands on Gulf Coast (Biloxi)
  • St. Bernard Project (New Orleans)
  • Camp Hope (New Orleans) [Oct. 24: Please direct your donations to the first two agencies. We’re in good shape with Camp Hope.]

Credit Card: Donations through the Paypal account will be split among all three nonprofit agencies. If you’d prefer to designate an agency, please note it in your transaction. Note: Paypal automatically deducts a fee of 2.9 percent plus 30 cents for each transaction, thus reducing your total donation.
